RECIPE: SCN CHAI TEA LATTÈ

This recipe is dairy free, anti-inflammatory, lowers blood pressure, has a few adaptogens in it that bring down stress plus it tastes amazing!

  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 small whole black peppers corns
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric spice
  • 1/8 tsp cardamom 
  • 1-inch piece of ginger
  • 1 tea bag of Calm tea
  • 1tbs of grade B organic syrup
  • 2 cups of filtered water 
  • 1 cup coconut or almond milk

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small pot with water and either coconut milk or almond milk. 
  • Bring to a boil for only a minute then bring down the heat to a simmer for 15 minutes. 
  • After 15 minutes stir in a tablespoon of organic maple syrup, strain the tea into a cup, throw out the tea bag and discard the peppercorns and cinnamon stick.
